Walmart, Home Depot share gains lead Dow's 267-point climb

Shares of Walmart and Home Depot are trading higher Tuesday afternoon, sending the Dow Jones Industrial Average into positive territory. The Dow

was most recently trading 267 points (0.8%) higher, as shares of Walmart

and Home Depot

are contributing to the index’s intraday rally. Walmart’s shares are up $7.80, or 5.9%, while those of Home Depot are up $15.62, or 5.0%, combining for an approximately 154-point boost for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are IBM
Walgreens Boots
and Dow Inc.
A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the Dow equates to a 6.59-point swing.
