Apple Inc. stock rises Friday, outperforms market

Shares of Apple Inc. AAPL inched 0.75% higher to $169.68 Friday, on what proved to be an all-around positive trading session for the stock market, with the NASDAQ Composite Index COMP rising 0.69% to 12,226.58 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA rising 0.80% to 34,098.16.

This was the stock’s second consecutive day of gains.
