Bharat Electronics

Bharat Electronics, the Navratna defence public sector undertaking, announced on Wednesday that it had received fresh orders worth Rs 537 crore since its last disclosure on 16 May 2025. The newly awarded contracts include communication equipment, advanced shipborne composite communication systems, jammers, software, simulator upgrades, spares, test rigs, and related services.

Newgen Software

Newgen Software Technologies received an international order worth $2.5 million (approximately Rs 20.8 crore) for the supply and implementation of its Enterprise Workflow and Content Management System. The contract, awarded by an overseas customer, includes licensing, implementation, and support services, and will be executed over a five-year period. As part of the deal, Newgen’s solutions will be deployed to drive digital transformation across multiple client business lines.

Adani Enterprises

Adani Airports Holdings (AAHL), India’s second biggest airport operator in terms of passengers handled, has raised $750 million through external commercial borrowings from a consortium of international banks. The transaction was led by First Abu Dhabi Bank, Barclays and Standard Chartered Bank. The proceeds will be used to refinance existing debt, infrastructure upgrades, investments, as well as for capacity expansion.

Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki India on Wednesday announced plans to invest over Rs 925 crore to ramp up its captive solar power capacity to 319 megawatt peak (MWp) by FY31. As part of this push, the company recently added 30MWp through two new projects—a 20MWp installation at its upcoming Kharkhoda facility and a 10MWp project at its Manesar plant—taking its total installed solar capacity from 49MWp to 79MWp in just one year.

NTPC Green Energy

NTPC Green Energy, a subsidiary of NTPC, won 1,000 MW capacity in Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL)’s solar PV power project auction. The company signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) at a discovered tariff of Rs 2.56 per kWh.

Vedanta

Vedanta increased its renewable energy power capacity to 1.03 GW and is on track to achieve 2.5 GW of green energy by 2030. The company has ramped up its renewable energy round-the-clock equivalent power capacity to 1.03 GW through power delivery agreements, according to a statement.

YES Bank

YES Bank said that CA Basque Investments, the Mauritius-based special purpose vehicle owned by Carlyle Group, has offloaded 2.62% of its shareholding in the bank, reducing its total stake to 4.22%. Following the sale, CA Basque no longer holds the minimum threshold required to retain its board nomination rights, as per the terms of the investment agreement signed with YES Bank on July 29, 2022.

Gland Pharma

Gland Pharma said that its material subsidiary, Cenexi, has received a final inspection report from France’s drug regulator, Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé (ANSM), citing 11 observations related to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance at its Fontenay manufacturing facility.

Hindustan Aeronautics

Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) has refuted a media report claiming that its negotiations with General Electric (GE) over the local production of GE414 engines have stalled. The state-run aerospace and defence company called the report factually incorrect and misleading.

KEC International

KEC International has secured new orders worth Rs 2,211 crore across its transmission and distribution, oil and gas pipeline, and cables businesses, the company said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday.
